I produce
high level experiences through expertise in production value, attentiveness
to ambiance and quality entertainment, and understanding the subtleties of
human nature. I am an arts non-profit and marketing professional offering a
broad and unique set of skills including:
-Live event production and development, directing, and management
-Strategic event marketing and promotions
-Educational outreach project management
-Fundraising leadership, event, and campaign management
-Business coordination and management
-High-level strategic and creative experience gained in education,
corporate, small business, and non-profit environments
I ensure the effectiveness and quality of constituent
development by stewarding donors, procuring new corporate sponsors, and
holding signature events. This includes supporting the mission
of the community non-profit corporation that serves 15,000 people through five different programs. I
manage, contract, and promote professional performances. I oversee Festival
Dance Academy, media and public relations, website, publications, the Great
Performances Series, and Festival Youthreach - 5,000 youth served. I
manage 12 staff and faculty members, and provide leadership to the FDPA
board of directors. I also serve as a spokesperson for the arts and
consider myself an advocate for non-profit organizations as well as the arts.
I have life-long experience in dance, performance, event production and direction; produced and directed over 20 performances, countless fundraising events, concerts, community events, and promotional events.
Accomplishments include:
· 80% increase in contributions from individuals (since FY 05)
· 40% increase in corporate sponsorships (since FY07)
· 37% increase in income from foundations (since FY 06)
· Balancing a deficit budget (-$22,758) in one fiscal year (FY 07)
· Earning 16% more tuition per student (since FY06)
Established the first ever ballet program for Lewis Clark State College, including the development of kinesiology curriculum for ballet, the MOU, course requirements, pre-requisites, scheduling, and advertising.
Established dance classes in rural Idaho - Troy, Lawpai, Orofino

Responsibilities included helping the board set the strategic
direction for the LEDC, ensuring the effectiveness and quality of
constituent fund-raising, and implementing long-term economic development
plans. I oversaw media and public relations; the website; publications and
events; and served as a spokesperson. I provided writing and editing
expertise on both internal and external communications including critical
communications with both current and future contributors.

Coordinated and promoted a best-selling financial author through events such as book signings, speaking engagements, and fund-raisers.
· Orchestrated logistics for a series of television talk show appearances (including Oprah and The View).
· Developed comprehensive objectives and sub-foci for a weekly educational television talk show titled, “The Rituals of Wealth” that aired for two years on satellite television.
· Managed a fax broadcast campaign that resulted in booking the client as guest on over 300 talk radio shows.
· Instrumental in client being featured in over 15 print articles.
· Planned and organized a 15 city speaking tour for the client.
Oversaw a major fund-raising initiative to publicize Chuck Norris’ “Kick Drugs out of America Campaign” including a celebrity tennis tournament in which President George Bush Sr. was the featured guest.
